From the President

Dear brothers in Christ: I am writing this letter to you in order to inform all who were planning to attend the Christian men’s conference on September 25th 2021, that the meeting has been postponed until May 21st 2022. This decision did not come about lightly. Concerns pertaining to the growing cases of COVID 19 and the counties of the southern tier remaining in red status prompted this unanimous action to delay the meeting of Christian Men. 2nd Thessalonians 3:3-5 (NIV) “3.But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one, 4. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance . ” Jesus is faithful, he gives us his strength. Jesus protects us, surrounding us with his angels. Jesus gives us peace and perseverance in these trying times. Psalm 121:7-8 (NIV) 7. The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life; 8. The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forever. Isn’t it great to realize that our Lord Jesus Christ will watch over each of us who believe in him, now and for all eternity? Please be encouraged that the Lord Jesus watches over you. Martin Luther prayed: (The German Litany, 3rd collect) Lord God, heavenly Father, you know that we are set in the midst of so many and great dangers, that by reason of the frailty of our nature we cannot always stand upright: Grant us such strength and protection, to support us in all danger, and carry us through all temptations; though your son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Please be encouraged by our Lord Jesus. Please place May 21st on your calendar for the Christian Men’s meeting.

Please pray for your brothers and sisters in Christ. Dear Lord Jesus: I ask that you watch over all who were planning and are going to attend the conference, I ask that you protect all your ministers and the congregations of all the churches who support the conference. Lord protect our service men and women, our veterans and their families. Lord watch over those affected by the recent flooding and fires. Lord heal those who are ill in both body and soul. In Jesus name I pray; Amen.
